The Reason to Keep Up

"When the world told her to quit, she ain't stop. She keeps writing because she believes everyone has the right to express what they thought, without being judged."

"I guess I've heard about this from some people. They said that why do you keep doing this or that when no one even cares? Well, it doesn't really matter though. As long as you enjoy doing it then why worry about what other think?" said Mia, my childhood friend.

Mia has always been that free-spirit type of person. "Overthinking" was never on her dictionary. She believes what she thought and never put much consideration when she needs to take action. She says no boldly when she dislikes something and she says yes when she likes it. A person I've always respect.

So I told her, "Definitely agree. I know you wouldn't even care what other think, right. But you know what. I really appreciate you for going beyond when someone needs your help. I mean there are times when other people ask for your help, and without any hesitation, you will immediately act."

"In this world where they told us nothing is free and we should be careful of how people use us, you break those assumption, just by being yourself. And I love that." I told her.

"Really? Well thank you. I never thought I would hear that from you. But I appreciate it. You know, it's just something that I believe," she said.

"But I guess you're becoming more considerate than during univ days. I mean during our univ days, you are almost like me, right? we grab opportunity as fast as possible, without putting much thought or hesitation. Why it seems like you're changing?"

"I don't really know exactly why, but I just feel like I need to walk more carefully."

"And that's why maybe, we both complete each other."
